Gippsland Corporate Gifts
Was invited to attend "Purchasing with Purpose" National Australian Disability Enterprises (ADE) Expo in Canberra during early June. An estimated 400 procurement officers from an assorted number of Government departments attended which featured more than 40 exhibitors from across the sector.
The Hon Bill Shorten MP Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Childrens Services openned the Expo with a strong and supportive speech and spent time visiting the exhibitors.
There is a strong sense that both Government and Opposition are keen to see greater use of ADE's for public sector purchasing.
